The jack-o-lanterns cast a bright glow up the wall.

For trick-or-treating, Daniel went with friends near his school. Naturally he dressed as a western outlaw. But the outlaw didn't want his picture taken. Perhaps he was afraid I'd put it on a wanted poster.
Michael went the mall with friends. They dressed as themselves, teenagers at the mall, which is perhaps just as scary to some people.

The big jack-o-lantern came from a kit. Daniel made the smaller one at left. Michael made the two lopsided one at right, to represent the condition of our actual pumpkins. |
